What’s on in the background when you’re designing?

The tv. I rarely watch it. It’s there for noise.

What is your favourite kit?

I think my newest releases always tend to become my newest favorit kits. But if I had to pick one I think it would be Miracles Happen. I really like the colors and it was fun to create.

Who would you love to collab with?

I would love to with Melissa Bennett someday.

What is a piece of advice you have for other designers?

There is always more to learn. My style has changed tremendously since I have started and continues to change as I learn. Learn all you can about your programs!

 What is a piece of advice you have for scrappers?

Capture all your memories and scrap your heart out!

 What do you like most about designing?

The creativity. Each artist is totally different and we express our creativity in different ways.

What do you find to be the biggest challenge with designing?

Naming kits stumps me sometimes. Sometimes I have to ask my CT for suggestions.

Where is somewhere you’ve never been that you would like to travel to?

I would love to go to Paris or Venice someday. Very romantic cities!

Coffee or Tea?

Neither Dr. Pepper all the way!

Where do you do your designing?

On my couch with my laptop in my lap or sometimes at the dining room table. Been meaning to set up an office but hasn’t happened yet!

Paris and Venice are very romantic cities…you can bet they’re on my bucket list, too!!

 Where do you find your inspiration for designing?

All sorts of things! Things that I find on Pinterest is my biggest spot for inspiration. I am addicted to that site!

Is designing your full time job?

No I also work as a supervisor for an agency for the mentally and physically disabled.

What got you started in designing?

I started making siggies at Cafe Mom and wanted to make my own elements for some of the siggies I was making and it blossomed from there.

Who is your favourite designer, other than yourself of course!

Hmm I have several! I have been a fan of Captivated Visions for quite some time! I have also been on Melissa Bennett’s CT for over 3 years and have totally been into her stuff! Someone who I has recently caught my eye is Secret Stash.

Who are some of your favourite scrap artists?

My CT members! They are just awesome!
