Gallery Standouts – 7/21/11

Good morning! We’re still fighting a heat wave where I live, so it was wonderful to be able to camp out in front of the a/c and take a tour through the gallery looking for today’s standouts. There were tons of gorgeous layouts to choose from so let’s get right on to it!

I love the layering behind the photo and how the pops of red really make the photo stand out. And how adorable are the little fork and egg elements!?! Perfect!

This is stunning! I love how she captured her creative escape by using a screen shot of her layout for the photo on the page. The clustering is superb and I love how the soft colors stand out on the rustic background.

A day at the zoo by Natascha
The rounded corners on the mats really set this layout apart in the gallery. The colors, cute zoo elements, and sweet clustering finish it off and draw your attention to the adorable photos.

I love everything about this layout! The vintage photo treatment, the gray background that really lets the other colors shine, the clustering, the shadowing – everything!

This is just too cute! I love how she did the bg papers and the photo is just adorable! The clustering along the top and bottom edges and below the photo is just right to set the photo off without overwhelming it.

This is such a stunning boy’s page! I love the layering and the grungy feel. It’s just perfect to capture a boyish personality.

This layout is just amazing. The extraction is just right and the whimsical feel of the fruit and teapots gives this layout such a feeling of fun.

I love the soft feeling of this layout. The photo is gorgeous and the soft pastel colors that she chose to scrap it with fit it so perfectly. The layering around the photo really sets it off.
